Candice L. Shepard was born in the Midwest, attending the University of Illinois earning her undergraduate degree in Communications, and the University of Iowa for her Juris Doctorate. She moved with her family to North Carolina in 2006 and is now completely converted to the Southern way of living!
Candice began her career as a litigator in the Kansas City area, practicing in criminal law, first as a prosecutor and then as defense counsel, as well as Juvenile Justice, Child in Need of Care, and Domestic Violence issues. Since starting a family and moving to North Carolina, Candice has chosen to practice in the areas of Real Estate and Estate Planning.
Candice is a dedicated attorney, author, public speaker, and mother. She lives with four children, a German Shepherd, two cats, and a handful of other "critters" in Harrisburg, where kids and church activities fill the remainder of her non-work hours.
In March of 2021, Candice's first book, "Success", became an Amazon Best Seller, later followed by, "Women Who Shine" in August 2021. For more information about Candice's success as an author, check out some additional press!
Attorney Erin Rozzelle was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She relocated with her family to Charlotte, North Carolina in 1992, attending elementary, middle, and high school in Mecklenburg County School System. After graduating from Harding University High School in 2000, she attended college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology in 2004. She then attended Law School at North Carolina Central University School of Law, receiving her J.D. degree in 2007.
After passing the July 2007 NC Bar Exam, she moved back home to Charlotte and worked as an Associate Attorney at a criminal defense law firm for two years. Following that, she launched her own law office, “The Law Office of Erin Rozzelle, PLLC” in 2009, working as a solo practitioner practicing in the areas of family law, criminal defense, and foreclosure defense. Working in foreclosure defense sparked a love in real estate law, leading Attorney Rozzelle to join Shepard Law, PLLC in March 2020.
In addition to practicing law, she also enjoys teaching criminal justice and paralegal courses in various colleges in the Charlotte-metro area. When she isn’t working, she delights in time spent with her family, exercising, traveling, and maintaining self-care.
Cassandra Strunk was born and raised in Virginia. She graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law with her Juris Doctorate. In 2014, Cassandra finally put her roots down in gorgeous North Carolina.
Cassandra is a licensed attorney in North Carolina and started her career as a litigator in family law. Since starting her own family, Cassandra has chosen to focus on estate planning. While estate planning can entail making difficult decisions, Cassandra is dedicated in helping her clients create an estate plan that works for them.
When not practicing law, Cassandra cherishes spending time with her family as much as possible. She enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and having time to read a good book.
Meredith Prawdzik is a native North Carolinian. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an Interior Design minor, Meredith knew she wanted a career in which she could help others. She felt the practice of law would allow her to do this, so she pursued her law degree.
Meredith is a licensed attorney in North Carolina and focuses her practice on matters involving probate law. Acknowledging that this can be a difficult time in a client’s life, she works hard to make the process as simple as possible.
In her free time, Meredith enjoys spending time with her family, running outdoors and playing tennis.
Jazmyn Parkan was born in Irvine California into a military family where she later spent her early childhood in Okinawa Japan. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government and Business, she continued her education by receiving her Juris Doctor degree in 2019.
Jazmyn is a licensed attorney in North Carolina and finds great pleasure in assisting individuals and families with obtaining their dreams of homeownership.
Alongside her work as an attorney, Jazmyn enjoys spending quality time with her family and having fun at the beach.
